Defending Your Business: 5 Questions to Ask Yourself in The New Economy
Friday, August 21st, 2009A Surprising But Powerful Marketing Tool
Wednesday, August 19th, 2009For many years, I have been big proponent of providing testimonials
to people and businesses who provided me with great service. I even
did this way before I started my first business. I simply wanted to
reward those who provided me with great service and attention.
What I didn’t realize until I had my own business is just how
important these testimonials were. What’s more, I came to realize
how much business I could actually attract simply by giving
testimonials! Once I saw this as a trend in my own business, I
started paying attention to what made a powerful testimonial and

Three Simple Steps to Defining Your Target Market
Monday, August 17th, 2009The term “target market” is a business term meaning the market
segment to which a particular good or service is marketed. Fair
enough.
But what does that really mean to us as business owners?
In my experience, I see that the best use of an entrepreneur’s time
is spent when they are highly focused and targeted, as opposed to
being scattered and allowing the latest and greatest thing to take

Five Sure-Fire Ways to Experience Success
Friday, August 14th, 2009I talk with a lot of entrepreneurs every week, and I have discovered

Follow Your Passion
It is not enough to want your own business. You must find the
business that you are passionate about! Your business must be in
alignment with your personal goals, values and passion. When I was
growing up, I was heavily involved in theatre and dancing. I toyed
with the idea of obtaining a degree in musical theatre and moving to
New York to pursue a career on Broadway. However, I was cautioned
not to do this unless I was wildly passionate about it because the
rejection was so incredible and the industry was so competitive. Do
these obstacles sound familiar? They are very similar to those
experienced by entrepreneurs. However, when you do something that
you are truly passionate about, it’s easy to get out of bed and feel
excited and energized by your work! In addition, it is much easier
to find ways to stand out in a competitive market and to do great
work for your clients. (more…)
How to Generate Leads with Articles
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009Writing and distributing articles is an extremely effective way of
generating leads and building your business. Article marketing is a
term that means that you write articles on topics that your target
market is interested in and submit them online to search engines.
When people search for advice or information online regarding your
topic, a link to your article will pop up. If you are already
writing articles for your ezine, you can easily leverage your work
by submitting your articles online. (more…)
